Makeup Artist Terri Tomlinson (MakeUp 101) has a bag-o-beauty tricks that every bride should know. Which is the very reason I've invited her to "guest blog" twice a month with great tips, tricks, ideas and trends for bridal beauty. Here's what she has to say this week!
When I think of a beautiful "wedding" eye, I always think of Navy. Rather than using a black for liner or deep shadow color, consider a navy. It helps whiten the whites of the eyes, isn't as hard as black, and photographs beautifully.
Navy makes a brown eye more clear, a green or hazel eye brighter, and a blue eye silvery-hot. Bobbi Brown's "Navy" is super pigmented for lining and MAC "Contrast" shadow has a bit of shimmer. Fun for fall/winter smoky eyes as well.
