As the season is slowly begining to change - and warmer weather is on the horizon - our beauty expert, Terri Tomlinson of MakeUp 101, has great advice for choosing fabulous florals for your wedding day hairstyle.

"I love the idea of wearing fresh flowers in your hair on your special day. I especially like an enlarged bun with a pop of floral color, so romantic. However it is important to prep the flowers before applying them in your hair. Make sure they are fresh and dry, and free of leaves and pollen...and thorns. (I know, duh.) Also, the flower should be in scale with the size of the up-do. A tiny up-do with a gargantuan peony is going to look odd. Scale is important. Also, no hanging down flowers, you are a bride not a trellis!
And match the style of your hair and dress to the flower. For example, if you are getting married barefoot on the beach with long loose hair, go with a braid of daisies as a headband. Your florist will be able to help you with the flower, and your stylist can get it attached."
