After three very long (but lovely) days of delivering, setting up, sprucing florals, arranging seating, sprinkling petals, bedazzling vignettes and snapping photos, we have completed one of our best photo shoots yet. Set high atop the 42nd Floor - we've spent the last few days transforming the beautifully raw Loft space in the Cityplace Tower into a whimsical, winter wonderland ceremony setting for the 37th edition of the Texas Wedding Guide. The room, spectacular, the photos, phenomenal, the crew (a little tired) but overjoyed... Now, my pretty brides, just sit tight until the next issue hits shelves in mid-December. It's sure to inspire a most sophisticated, glamorous and beyond-stylish affair for your big day.
Special thanks to owner Ed Barrett of Signature Productions (a complete wedding floral and event design studio ) and his uber-talented team (Heather, Roxie, Randy, Nick and Spencer), The Loft became the Mecca of all things g-o-r-g-e-o-u-s. Flowers, vases, candles, draping, lighting, design - you name it, they do it all - and to absolute perfection. If you're a bride who loves to sparkle and shine, then Ed is your go-to man... The running joke this week... "Ed, get your bedazzle-gun!"
Just wait until you see the furnishings from Posh Couture Rentals … to-die-for. Oversized white and gold tufted banquettes, gold and while Louis chairs and crystal clear ghost chairs came straight to us off the trucks from New York. We envisioned crisp, clean and stunningly elegant – and owners Jamie & Laurel delivered in style.
And the genius behind the lens? Quick-witted, smart and diligent, photographer Kevin Marple of Kevin Marple Photo was the man for the job. Click, Click, Click… hundreds and hundreds of frames captured the essence of this luxurious space, destined to end up on the glossy pages of the next Texas Wedding Guide.
Here’s a sneak peak at what’s to come, but we cant give it all away! You’ll just have to wait for the December issue to experience this chic setting for your perfect wedding.
