Day 1

On the first day of the Dream Team Wedding Giveaway planning, our groom Leo and his Best Man Bryant hit the ground running with a suit fitting at Al's Formal Wear. Looking dapper in sleek black suits with Susan's choice of peacock blue accents, they are going back today for their final fitting! We then started the afternoon with every bride's dream appointment... a gown fitting with Laura Hodgkinson at The Bridal Salon at Stanley Korshak! With a room full of gorgeous gowns to choose from, Susan selected a stunning ivory dress with lace overlay and a full-length, flowing train fit for a princess! She was glowing! "THIS is the one!" she said, holding back tears. Her mother and brother joined her for the fitting and both were speechless and overjoyed.

On to the next appointment, we met with Kelly Bryant of Premiere Photography in Colleyville who walked Susan step-by-step through the photography process for her Big Day! Kelly's calm and soothing nature was just what Susan needed... "I feel great!" Susan said... "I knew with one look at her photo album that my wedding day photos will be perfect!"

And last but not least, we headed across the street to the wedding venue to meet with Heather Rowley and Laura Parrish at Piazza in the Village. We could tell by Susan and Leo's huge, beaming smiles that they loved the location. A tour through the breathtaking chapel and ballroom, followed by a meeting to decide on the menu, drinks and ballroom arrangements ended a non-stop, whirlwind day of planning and preparation.

Day 2

Day 2 began at Bridal Collections by Stella, where owner, Stella Sache, custom created a beautiful, peacock blue floor length gown with rhinestone detail just for the Maid of Honor, Nancy. Her team is hard at work with the finishing touches this morning, while Nancy is on her way for her final fitting! We were then off to see the wizard of all things fabulous, Ed Barrett of Signature Productions, who is taking Susan's peacock-inspired wedding dreams and bringing them to live in the form of a wedding ceremony and reception second to none! Finally, we met with Videographer, DJ and photobooth extraordinaire, Randy Roberson of Randy Ro Entertainment, to select the perfect dancing tunes for the evening, photobooth arrangements for the guests. Randy's team has been in tow all week following our appointments and creating the video footage of this week's events!

Day 3

We started Day 3 with the one and only Shannon Caldwell, makeup artist extraordinaire of Something-You Makeup Artistry, to select the perfect look for the Big Day. She airbrushed her way to discovering Susan's idea bridal "face." Then, we were off to meet Steven Bach, owner of the famed Bachendorf's to get fitted for Leo's wedding band. Susan alreay wore a two-toned diamond band, given to her by Leo when he proposed, so Steve did something that took us all by surprise... he gifted Susan with a half carat yellow diamon engagement ring!! Finally, it was off to meet The Cake Guys in Duncanville so Leo and & Susan could choose their cake flavors and wedding cake & grooms cake design. Susan opted for a white, raspberry-filled teired cake with detailed scroll work incorporating her peacock-themed colors. Leo chose a humidor cake complete with chocolate cigars!

Day 4

Day 4, the final day of planning began with a little R&R for our Bride-to-Be... First stop, Toni&Guyin Southlake for a preview of her perfectly coiffed mane for the Big Day! Then to Elixir Sap & Day Maker for a mani-pedi session, where the staff mixed together two different nail color to find the perfect shade of Blushing Bride pink. Then we met with professional mixologist, Sly Cosmopoulos of Republic National Distributing Company who created a custom cocktail for the couple based on their peacock-themed colors and menu selections from the Piazza. And finally, we made one last trip to Stanley Korshak for the final gown fitting and we even got to meet the woman who designed the veil she will wear!!
