The theme of February: Valentine's Day. The theme of Valentine's Day: Flowers, chocolate and romance. Of course, some of us prefer merely flowers from our significant other, and feel he's not showing us the love by, what we see as, tempting us to thicken our waistline.
Oh, and please, no Kroger's bouquet in plastic with the petals going limp. No sir, he did not just make that mistake. It's not only semi-impersonal, it sends the message of, "I'm sorry I was in a rush and almost forget it was Valentine's Day, honey."
There's that common childhood saying, "April showers bring May flowers," but I'd like to say, "Valentine's Day brings a flower parade." Hey, it's Valentine's; cheesiness is overlooked and adored.
What kind of flowers, color scheme and ribbon detail would make up your dream Valentine's bouquet?
One of my friends did not get the invites out in time and it ended up being disaster! For some truly excellent gifts you might want to consider something just a little far more personalized including producing your own t-shrits with customized sayings. We located some remarkable ideas over at this website… Highly recommended!

I love the traditional red/white combo....but pink is my favorite color. I've always wanted a bouquet of the roses and fade white to pink mixed with pink and white lilies. Ive never seen it and Ithink it's be lovely for Valentines Day!
Oooh la la! That sounds lovely! Perhaps a florist needs some "love" and Valentine's inspiration from you. It would be fun to go pick out those flowers and arrange them into a bouquet. If you ever do, please post it to our Facebook page. I'd really enjoy seeing what it looked like, as I'm sure others would. I do love those fade white to pink roses - simply beautiful with that hint of vintage.
