Rules for Contestants:

1. Entries for the contest begin on January 3, 2012 at 6:00pm CST.
2. All contestants must first sign in or register with the Texas Wedding Guide Website.
3. All contestants must be 18 years of age or older and be planning a wedding in the state of Texas.
4. All contestants must submit valid contact information or be subject to disqualification.
5. Contestants may submit up to two photos of themselves. One head shot and one full body shot are recommended. The contestants may use any photo of themselves that is deemed appropriate. All photos are subject to review.
6. Contestants must own, have full usage rights or permission by photo's owner to use the photo for the contest. The contestant also gives the Texas Wedding Guide (DG Publishing, Inc.) rights to use the photos in print and/or online.
7. Once the photo(s) has been submitted, the Texas Wedding Guide will approve the head shot photo for the contest. The Texas Wedding Guide reserves the right to choose one of the two entered photos for use in voting on the site.

Voting Results and Process:

1. THE WINNER will be announced no later than April 30, 2012
2. All votes will be averaged together to reach the final  SCORE for each contestant.
3. The 10 Semi-Finalists will consist of the CONTESTANTS WITH THE TOP 7 SCORES from the public vote and 3 WILDCARD CONTESTANTS chosen by the Contest Committee*.
4. In the first round elimination, the Contest Committee* will select 5 FINALISTS from the 10 SEMI-finalists.
5. ALL FINALISTS WILL BE REQUIRED TO PARTICIPATE IN A TEST PHOTO SHOOT FROM WHICH THE CONTEST COMMITTEE WILL SELECT THE 2012 WINNER.
6. If a contestant is dishonest in the information submitted, the Texas Wedding Guide reserves the right to disqualify her. If a top 10 finalist is disqualified, the next runner-up will become a finalist.

* The Contest Committee consists of the Texas Wedding Guide Publisher and four wedding professionals.

Voting for your favorite cover model:

1. Voting will begin on January 15, 2012.
2. You may vote on as many photos as you'd like from 1 to 5, 5 being the best.
3. Thirty photos per page will be loaded randomly when you first load the voting page.
4. You may also search for a specific contestant by their first name.
5. You are allowed one vote per contestant every 24 hours. If you vote multiple times for the same contestant in a 24 hour period, only the most recent vote will count. If you are registered with the Texas Wedding Guide, all of your votes will be recorded so you can view them or change them at anytime. To register, click here. If you are NOT registered with the Texas Wedding Guide, your votes will be recorded, but will not be saved in your browser's memory after you refresh or close your browser window.
6. If you register with the Texas Wedding Guide, your votes will be stored in memory. The system will NOT retain your vote in memory if you are NOT logged in. You may change your vote at any time, but will be considered your one vote per day.
