What woman doesn’t dream of being her most beautiful on her wedding day? Unfortunately, in today’s culture crash dieting and quick-fix solutions to lifelong problems, have become the answer. In an effort to educate and encourage women to live healthier, Texas Wedding Guide and The Driskill Hotel are proud to launch the "Before I Do" 2012 Bridal Makeover Contest which advocates this concept and encourages the winning bride-to-be and her mother or mother-in-law to be, to build their beauty from the inside out in a healthy, sustainable way. After all, every bride deserves to look beautiful on her special day and every day thereafter.

Thanks to Dr. Ruthie Harper, MD of The Laser and Skin Care Clinic of Austin, our winning bride and her mother will be receive a customized 5 month health and skin rejuvenation package. After initial consultations, Dr. Harper and her clinic's master aestheticians will bring out the two winners innate vibrancy through an internal and external body makeover. From aesthetic services (botox, body-treatment peels, photo facials, skin-tightening laser treatments and laser hair removal) to a comprehensive health and wellness regime, Dr Ruthie Harper will work with the winners to create and execute a customized lifestyle plan that is tailored to their specific needs and goals. The winners’ transformations will be documented throughout the entire process in order to show the amazing results at the LIVE reveal at the "Before I Do..." event on February 12, 2012.

Texas Wedding Guide will begin accepting submissions Tuesday, August 30th and will close the admission process on September 30th with the winners being announced October 3rd.

If you know a bride-to-be or well-deserving mother of the bride, please enter your submissions here. It must be a brief story as to why this pair should be chosen for this life-altering gift of self-fulfillment. Contestants must live in the Austin metroplex to qualify and must attend scheduled consultations with Dr.Ruthie Harper spanning several months. In the event that the contestants are to be videotaped and documented throughout their journey, they must agree to be filmed. If the contestants are filmed or photographed with participating Texas Wedding Guide partners, the winning contestants must agree for the distribution of the photos and/or footage to be at the liberty of the Texas Wedding Guide.
