Stardust Celebrates New Bridal Gown Line

Stardust Celebrations, Texas Wedding Guide, Augusta Jones

Congratulations, Stardust Celebrations, on your newest bridal gown line: Augusta Jones! They also happen to be the only wedding salon in the state of Texas that carries this designer. Brides, you know you want to go try on these gorgeous creations. Be sure to schedule a consulation for this unique experience.

The first Augusta Jones collection was launched in 1999 under the creative leadership of British designer Charlotte Leung. She needed a line for her own shop to satisfy three basic requirements: beautiful styling; flexibility of the range to flatter a variety of shapes; and affordability.

Her focus was to bring stylish, designer wedding gowns to modern brides. With the success of her initial bridal collection, she was encouraged to launch the range throughout England in September 1999 and then in the US in March 2003. Wanting to offer brides a complete look, she added a range of wedding shoes and very simple, complementing veils. The label is now available in over 150 shops worldwide. Leung's label is only available in selective shops world-wide.

Smartini: "We Make Cheating Fun"

Smartini, Leigh Ann Rodriguez, Texas Wedding Guide, low calorie cocktails, low calorie martinis

Congrats, you're engaged! After all the hugging, tears, laughter, pictures (not to mention the Facebook "official" status change) you now have a 6 - 12 month period (give or take) to plan your wedding. We all know the usual bridesmaid selection, venue shopping, dress hunting, invitation sending comes with the territory - it's all big exciting whirl. But, it's what comes in between all those events that can make or break you, because aside from your normal lunch dates and happy hours, you have your bridal shower, bachelorette party, engagement party, rehearsal dinner and any other social engagements you've picked up in leiu of becoming engaged. And come on, will you seriously be drinking water at all those engagements? No! You'll be partying it up with your girls, friends and family.

And what are most brides concerned about? That's right - fitting into their beautiful wedding gown on one of the biggest moments of their lives. And we all know mixed cocktails and drinks aren't exactly light on the calories or easy on the waistline.

Not to worry, ladies! I come bearing great booz (come on, that was clever...however corny). You don't have to sacrifice partying it up or your waistline. Smartini, whose motto is "We make cheating fun," has created, for your indulgence, several flavored cocktail mixers! For instance, the normal Lemon Drop martini has more than 350 calories, while the Smartini mix only has 82 calories.

These lotions are much safer for your skin than harmful rays from the tanning bed or sun. Well, you might be thinking, “I don’t like how lotions or sunless tanning leave streaks and stink!”

XEN-TAN has got your sweet self covered. Within each sunless tan product is a deodorizing system that works all day long. These sunless tan lotions aren’t just surface level, but work into your skin for a more natural, blended look that won’t rub off as quickly. Even New York City runway models swear by it. Honeymoon Hints: Traveling with Cosmetics

traveling with cosmetics, honeymoon tips, Texas Wedding Guide

If you're anything like me, I'm often at a loss as to what cosmetic items I'll need when I travel. I seem to either pack too many or not enough for the flight. Cosmetics take up a lot of room in a purse. When flying, do you feel by the time you've touched up your makeup before landing, your makeup feels gooey or gunked on - as if your face is going to explode into an acne machine?

Then there's making sure you have the right travel size containers to transport your cosmetic items in. You don't want to make more work for yourself by having to transfer unnecessary items to smaller containers.

These are great need-to-knows about traveling with cosmetics and keeping your face clean, makeup fresh - things especially important on your honeymoon flight. I don't know about you, but I'd definitely would want to look and feel sexy on my honeymoon flight and first night; not to mention the entire trip.

The whole process is not that complicated when you know a couple of facts before you hit the airport.
